DJ Jus-Ed - Listening In [ Underground Quality ] 2010

En écoutant cet album (Next Level) que j'avais un peu oublié dans mon itunes depuis un moment, je suis tombé sur ce Listening In. Incroyable morceau qui est l'un des seuls, voire peut-être même le seul morceau complètement techno de Jus-Ed. On est finalement assez loin de cet esprit nouvelle house new yorkaise et Underground Quality. Le morceau est noir, il y a une sorte de saccade omniprésente, des aller-retour caverneux. En fait c'est assez improbable le morceau ne s'adresse donc pas aux amateurs de Jus-Ed mais bien aux amateurs de cette techno sombre dont je parle souvent ici.

Bien sûr, c'est la rentrée, et c'est déprimant.

Je ne parlerai même pas de mon cas, parisienne déchue, échouée au milieu de touristes suintant et rougis par un soleil imaginaire.

Je ne parlerai même pas de la pluie qui s'abat à présent dans mon appartement, ni des gros nuages noirs qui nous feraient presque croire à la fin du monde.

Pendant que certains vous expliquent le rock par une équation mathématique, pendant que d'autres vous mettent une taule à Guitar Hero, pendant que je me débats avec le dictionnaire des synonymes.

Et bien, rien.

Tout le monde s'auto-sauce de son bronzage made in France (autant dire que c'est immonde) et j'ai presque la larme à l'oeil quand je vous entends gémir "Je me suis reposé, c'était tellement, mais c'est tellement finit..." Dommage.

On ne fera aucun commentaire sur ceux qui sont partis au ClubMed Marocco, cela va de soit.

Je ne tenterai pas de faire croire que la tendance cette année, c'est d'aller à Lille. J'ai encore un peu de dignité.

Oui, bien sûr que j'exulterai lorsque je pourrais enfin écrire en statut FB "Ciao Paris".

Mais la crise, tu la fuis, elle revient, elle a une date (le 3 Septembre), elle a un nom (le BTS Audiovisuel Option Gestion de Production), elle a des soldats (on ne citera aucun nom, sinon je peux dire Adieu à mon diplôme), et on sait où la trouver : 4 avenue de l'Europe, Bry-sur-Marne.

Je suis coincée dans un monde parallèle depuis un an, et, il parait évident que je refuse toujours de grandir (Cf ma nouvelle paire de chaussures).

Sauve qui peut, je n'ai pas encore chopé de MST en m'asseyant sur la cuvette de toilettes improbables, ma réputation est intacte (comme ma Virginité).

Conclusion, c'est pas parce que dans deux semaines vous aurez retrouvé votre teint de doliprane déchu qu'on n'a pas le droit de rêver un peu, de Glam et de Paillettes.

Je vous embrasse les Kiris Goûters, je peux au moins me vanter d'être bronzée toute l'année et d'avoir une couleur de cheveux s'apparentant à du Rouckmout.

JEAN LE ROY 0.1

Il est temps pour cette rentrée des classes 2010, d'apporter de nouvelles choses sur ce blog. Voici donc un mix que nous a concocté Jean Le Roy. Parisien, rédacteur en chef du blog Get The Curse, d'une culture impressionnante et défenseur d'une certaine idée de la techno, c'est à dire sans concession. Il est la personne qui, avec ses playlists a réussi à me faire apprécier ce son si particulier que l'on associe au Berghain. Il nous distille ici un voyage sans retour plein d'angoisse. L'auteur nous donne donc quelques mots sur la façon dont il a fabriqué ce mixe :

J'ai construit un mix d'une heure en forme de crescendo techno : une lente descente aux enfers, dans laquelle le rythme s'accélère irrémédiablement, l'atmosphère devient tendue, irrespirable et suffocante. J'ai toujours été fan de techno sombre, sans beaucoup de mélodie et pourtant pleine d'histoire et de mélancolie, et cette musique est parfaitement traduite en ce moment par des gens comme Peter Van Hoesen, Silent Servant, Luke Slaler..

Place à un coup de coeur plus vraiment récent. Ma passion pour Meanwhile a commencé quand Murmur avait été podcasté sur Resident Advisor. Il reste d'ailleurs le podcast qui m'a fait aimer et découvrir la mouvance dub techno/deep techno. Confidentialité, précision, finesse et esthétique propre sont les maîtres mots de ce label. Quoique déjà moins depuis qu'ils ont signé des maxis de Sven Weisemann, Quantec ou Conforce, qui sont déjà bien installés dans le domaine public dub techno.
Cet ep, 6ème sortie, est signé par Remote_ aka Mike Oliver. Boss de la structure Smallfish, il a écrit un nombre impressionnant de reviews passionnantes pour son blog remote_ thoughts entre 2005 et 2009 . C'est aussi lui qui a fondé Meanwhile par ailleurs. Dans sa musique il prêche un savant mélange d'influences situé entre Basic Channel et Techno originelle de Detroit. Le dub techno qu'il distille ici n'est pas encore galvaudé alors qu'il est antérieur à cette nouvelle vague depuis un an ou deux ans des Quantec, Bvdub, Deepchord (qu'on entend beaucoup beaucoup, voire peut-être trop).
Ce qu'ils entendent donc par deep techno est marqué par des espèces d'ultra textures, liées à des nappes deep planantes à souhait sans jamais vraiment tomber dans l'ambient.
