Ce sont ces deux vidéos (post initial sur son blog) qui ont fait la promo de l'album Unfinished Business sorti en 2010 sur Thug. Son album est passé totalement inaperçu. On se demande bien pourquoi d'ailleurs. Le mec commence tout de même à faire parler de lui avec notamment son superbe mix pour le blog smilecoldanatomy, dont d'ailleurs mon intérêt cesse de croître. Bref ce mec aux vidéos rincées m'impressionne beaucoup. Certes il est discret mais il a tout de même sorti un track sur Fullpanda, le label de Dasha Rush et a participé à la soirée du label au MIKS, un des gros line up de 2010 en somme.

Tous les codes de la house/deep house moderne type strengh, aesthetic, UQ & co sont ici. Nappe naviguante, tout est simple, suivi, continu, sans être gratuit. D'autant que le track date de 91, pas de vocaux pute ou d'envolées trop lyriques ou autre d'ailleurs, tout un tas de références bien orchestrées. Signé sur Nu Grooves, comme par hasard. Ce track est la définition même d'un demi Get Pissed.

Social Club Samedi 5 février Dement3d Sandwell District/Surgeon
Dement3d est vraiment le label qui commence à faire très fortement parler de lui. Après avoir invité des artistes comme Scuba ou Moritz Van Oswald en 2010, ils commencent l'année en conviant Sandwell District et Surgeon. Cela faisait bien longtemps qu'un tel plateau, c'est à dire Techno n'avait pas été programmé au Social Club, et à la limite... tant mieux. Il est appréciable de voir des artistes que l'on nous jure imbookables depuis 2 ans et qu'ils le sont finalement enfin.Bref, samedi vous savez déjà où il faut être.
